“No one should die like an orphan” is the slogan of Serve Needy.
There are so many orphan and old aged, poor, helpless peopledie on the streets every day in India, who cannot effort do to last rites in traditional form or do not have anyone to carry their body and cremate.
Antyesti (IAST: Antyeṣṭi, Sanskrit: अन्त्येष्टि) literally means "last sacrifice", and refers to the funeral rites for the dead in Hinduism. The last rites, in Christianity, are the last prayers and ministrations given to many Catholics when possible shortly before death.
Recognizing the need to provide special ritualsto dead person who are orphans or do not have any financial support at all, Serve Needy took the initiative to support and started their last rites services since 2014 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Serve Needy reaches to the deceased spot as soon as they hear about it. We carry the body on in our medical mobile (Ambulance) to the crematory. We clean bath the dead body and we perform all the rituals needed according to religious customs.
Serve Needy President/CEO Mr. Goutham Kumar represents and takes charge like a son/karta and performs rituals like making circle around the body and lighting pyre and dissolving ashes after cremation according to the Hindu customs. Also takes charge like a relative/support according to other religion customs.
